Hitachi plans to invest 100 billion yen in China in five years. According to reports, Hitachi plans to invest an additional 100 billion yen in China in the next five years to increase production of mobile phones and televisions in the country. Hitachi Yoshihiko, President of Hitachi, said that the company’s current gross domestic product in mainland China is US$520 million and it is planned to increase to US$4 billion within five years.
