2013年11月12日,由《中国科协科技期刊发展报告》课题组主办的科技期刊学科刊群建设模式与机制学术研讨会在苏州召开,中国科协党组成员沈爱民、中国科协学会学术部副部长刘兴平等领导及近100名国内科技期刊界代表出席了会议。中国科协党组成员沈爱民做大会开幕式致辞。沈爱民在致辞中提到,中国科技论文发表数量与质量不断提升,但国内科技期刊尚不能满足国内科技发展的需要,也不能完全适应国际化的科技期刊出
On November 12, 2013, a Symposium on Construction Modes and Mechanisms of Sci-tech Periodicals Published by the Research Group of CAST Journals Development Report was held in Suzhou. Shen Aimin, a member of the China Association for Science and Technology Association, Deputy Minister Liu Xingping and other leaders and nearly 100 domestic science and technology journalists attended the meeting. Shen Aimin, member of China Association for Science and Technology Association, delivered a speech at the opening ceremony of the conference. Shen Aimin mentioned in his speech that the quantity and quality of published scientific papers in China are continuously improving. However, domestic scientific and technical journals can not meet the needs of domestic technological development nor can they fully adapt to internationalized scientific and technological journals
