一、教学目的的确定林觉民是“黄花岗七十二烈士”之一。他的《与妻书》是一篇血泪写成的遗书,又是一份革命志士献身于革命事业的宣言书。这用血泪写成的文字,就是今天读起来还令人感动,是一篇对学生进行革命传统教育的好教材。它对今天生活在社会主义社会中的青少年怎样立大志、创大业,是大有启迪的。教学中,应当重视这一教学目的。本文虽是文言,但畅晓易懂,对高一年级学生,应以自学为主,其目的就是培养学生“独立阅读文言文的能力”。二、疑难字词句补说 (一)关于“卿卿”。典见《世说新语·惑(?)》:“王安丰妇常卿安丰,安丰曰:‘妇人卿婿,于礼为不敬,后勿复尔。’妇曰:‘亲卿爱卿,是从卿卿;我不卿卿,谁当卿卿?’遂恒听之。”这里的“卿卿”原为动宾结构,后人将二字连用作为夫妻间的爱称。 (二)关于“太上之忘情”。“忘情”之说初见《世说新语·伤逝》:“王戎丧儿万子,山简往视之,王悲不自胜。简曰:‘孩抱中物,何至于此?’王曰:‘圣人忘情,最下不及情,情之所钟,正在我辈。’简服其言,更为之恸。”又宋欧阳惨《祭石曼卿文》中有“有愧夫太上之忘情”之句。本文第四段中有“钟情如我辈者”一语,也就是从“情之所钟,正在我辈”变化而来。“钟情”指感情专注。 (三)关于“独善其身”。语本出于《孟子·尽心》:“古之人,得志泽加于民,不得志修身见于世,穷则独善其身,达则兼善天下。”文中的“独善其身”是借用,作只顾自己解。 (四)关于“一恸”。恸(tòng):悲哀之
