November 19, 1984 to 24, China Society of Particle Accelerator held the third annual academic meeting in Xi’an Jiaotong University. Attending the meeting were 186 representatives of more than 40 units including institutions of higher learning, production departments and research institutes. Comrade Jiang Shengtai, the vice chairman of the Standing Committee of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, sent a congratulatory telegram to the conference.
