The famous “Pygmalion Effect” is a successful example of teachers’ positive expectations for students: A positive evaluation promotes the development of students and the development of students on the other hand obtains a positive evaluation. This is exactly what the new curriculum standard stresses “to evaluate and promote development.” A child who is often criticized may be prone to self-esteem, and a child who is often encouraged may be confident. Therefore, the correct use of evaluation so that students in a positive evaluation of self-confidence, feelings of love, thus germination of a positive sense of enterprising, resulting in learning drive, is worth our serious study.
