丰满水库是吉林省的一座发电、水产、灌溉、航运综合利用的大型水库,控制流域面积四万多平方公里占全省总土地面积的23%。库区上游包括十二个县(区),地域辽阔,物产丰富,对发展全省的国民经济有着重大作用。但过去受到左的影响,水库上游自然资源遭到严重破坏,水土流失危害日趋加重。据1972年实测,丰满水库年淤积泥沙3300万米~3。
Fengman Reservoir is a large-scale reservoir of comprehensive utilization of power generation, aquatic products, irrigation and shipping in Jilin Province. The control basin covers an area of more than 40,000 square kilometers accounting for 23% of the total land area of the province. The upper reaches of the reservoir area includes 12 counties (districts) with vast territory and rich natural resources, which play a significant role in the development of the national economy in the province. However, in the past, it was affected by the left and the natural resources in the upper reaches of the reservoir were severely damaged. The harm of soil and water loss was aggravated. According to the actual measurement in 1972, the siltation of sediment in Fengman Reservoir is 33 million meters ~ 3.
