一、牧草收获工艺的一次革命将牧草晾晒成青干草,作为牲畜越冬饲料,这一传统作法多少世代以来没有什么变化。直到本世纪中叶,调制干草的方法才有了较大的进展。这种进展主要体现在干草调制的方法由“长散草收获法”过渡为“压捆收获法”。压制出的草捆密度大,体积小,外形整齐一致,便于运输、贮存和喂饲。此外,压捆收获法也便于机械化作业。
I. A Revolution in Forage Harvesting Process The grass is dried into green hay. As a winter feed for livestock, this traditional approach has remained unchanged for generations. Until the middle of this century, the method of modulation of hay made great progress. This progress is mainly reflected in the hay modulation method from the “long grass lawns” to “bale harvesting method.” The density of the bale pressed is large, the volume is small, the appearance is neat and consistent, which is convenient for transporting, storing and feeding. In addition, the bale harvesting method also facilitates mechanization.
