构建社会主义和谐社会,既要以人与自然的和谐共处为前提条件,也要以人与人的和谐共处为基础,这其中就包括了男女平等,建立两性间的和谐发展。但从目前我国女性发展的现状来看,男女不平等的现象依然存在,两性的不和谐成为构建和谐社会的重大的阻滞因素。因此,必须充分认识男女平等对于构建社会主义和谐社会的重要意义,从分析男女平等现状与构建和谐社会的现实矛盾入手,采取切实措施,努力促进两性彼此和谐、共同发展,为建设社会主义和谐社会贡献力量。
