The agricultural cooperative novels from the 1950s to the 1970s have shaped a large number of female figures in the special historic period of transition from old to new. They are not only immersed in traditional culture but also infected by modern cultural concepts, showing the richness and profoundness of their cultural identities and cultural connotations. On the one hand, the traditional female’s mentality of redemption and Mother Earth’s mythological prototype cut from the perspective of traditional cultural psychology to interpret these female characters; the other hand, by the modern individual identity and marriage choice, from the modern culture Psychological perspective to explore the cultural distortion of these female characters in order to carry out more reasonable cultural interpretation and grasp of such female characters and agricultural cooperative novels.
