环氧合酶(COX)是花生四烯酸合成前列腺素的限速酶。COX-2及其催化产物前列腺素不仅广泛参与机体炎症等多种病理生理过程,而且可通过多种机制参与肿瘤的发生和发展。COX-2在皮肤肿瘤中表达明显上调,且在皮肤肿瘤的增殖、分化及转移中起着重要作用。
Cyclooxygenase (COX) is the rate-limiting enzyme for arachidonic acid to synthesize prostaglandins. COX-2 and its catalytic product prostaglandin are not only widely involved in a variety of pathophysiological processes such as inflammation in the body, but also participate in the occurrence and development of tumors through various mechanisms. COX-2 is significantly upregulated in skin tumors and plays an important role in the proliferation, differentiation and metastasis of skin tumors.
