In February 2013, Jim Crace (1946-), a contemporary British novelist, published his new work Harvest, which is his Eleventh novel. Kress has won numerous literary awards and his work has been translated into more than 20 languages, including Chinese versions of Being Dead and The Pesthouse (2007). Kress has been shortlisted for the Buak Award with Quarantine (1997). Harvest was again short-listed in the Buick Awards in 2013, winning the highest prize and topped the list on the betting websites, but it was a pity that it finally passed the prize again.
