10月6日,在北京奥运会上夺取金牌的运动队和运动员与体育系统为奥运做出贡献的单位和个人,欢聚在人民大会堂举行的国家体育总局、中国奥委会二○○八北京奥运会表彰大会,延续了奥运夺取佳绩和国庆佳节的喜庆气氛。鉴于举重摔跤柔道运动管理中心在本届奥运会上取得12枚金牌、3枚银牌、1枚铜牌的骄人成绩,会上举摔柔运动管理中心荣获“北京奥运会突出贡献集体”荣誉称号,有关教练员、运动员荣获“中国奥林匹克运动荣誉奖章”和“北京奥运会突出贡献个人”荣誉称号。
