In the 10 science and technology breakthroughs in 2001 selected by the Association for the Advancement of Science, molecular level circuits connected with nanocrystals, nanowires and nanoswitches topped the list. This breakthrough includes many major achievements in nanoscience and technology research. American Association for the Advancement of Science and its subsidiary “Science” weekly jointly announced the results of the selection. If the nano-circuit can be applied to more complex
