We have found in many years of educational practice that students, parents, and teachers have different understandings of the value of extracurricular reading. Most middle school students have the desire to read outside class. Expect to be able to squeeze out time to read more, thus broaden their horizons, improve their level of understanding, and contribute to their own academic study and future development. There are also some students who just use reading books as a relaxing way of thinking that learning is too stressful and need to be adjusted. Most parents are not in favor of children watching extra-curricular books. They think that if they want to read, they must look at reference books concerning academic learning. Some teachers also regard extra-curricular reading as an optional work, so if the school only stays Recommending, recommending, and advocating such a stage often fail to achieve tangible results.
