呋喃丹是近几年生产的新农药。近两年来海康县在甘蔗生产中广泛应用,效果很佳。呋哺丹在甘蔗田的施用中不但防治虫害的药效期长,而且对甘蔗的生长有很大的促进。呋喃丹在林业生产中的应用效果也十分显著。海康县花桥乡田东村陈光球1984年5月在香茅迹地营造桉树丰产林5亩,在白蚁危害的严重区首次施用呋喃丹造林,每亩用药量6斤、磷肥50斤、牛栏肥20担,造林后七个月调查,幼树不但受白蚁及其它虫害的危害率低,
