当人类即将跨入2000年,我们迎来了中华人民共和国50华诞。半个世纪的征程,我们的祖国发生了翻天覆地的变化。新中国的诞生及其成长发展,离不开中国共产党的领导和在她的领导下所走的社会主义道路,所实行的改革开放。在纪念中国共产党建党78周年和举国欢庆新中国50岁生日的时候,重新回顾一下我们党走过的艰难历程,更加深刻认识他的伟大、光荣、正确;
When humanity is about to enter the year 2000, we have a 50th birthday of the People’s Republic of China. Half a century’s journey has undergone tremendous changes in our motherland. The birth of New China and its growth and development can not be separated from the leadership of the Chinese Communist Party and the socialist road it has taken under her leadership. At the time of commemorating the 78th anniversary of the founding of the Chinese Communist Party and the entire nation celebrating the 50th birthday of New China, we should review once again the difficult course our party has gone through and make him more profoundly aware of his greatness, honor and correctness.
