玉米粒制种的优点人所皆知,菌丝洁白而有力,满瓶快,产量高,适应广。缺点是保存期短,原料价格高,水分不易掌握。笔者经多次在平菇、金针菇、香菇、灵芝上试验,发现用粗玉米芯代替玉米粒制种,菌丝长势特有力而洁白,连绒毛状的金针菇菌丝和羽毛状的平菇菌丝两者都难以区分,而且价格低,每瓶玉米芯种价仅0.07元(每瓶玉米粒种却要0.22元),且保存期也延长了许多。
