甲申冬腊,室外彤云厚重,大雪飘飞,屋里暖若三春。余坐画室信手翻阅,又见汉画拓片一叠,甚喜。两汉之画像石乃吾先民以刀斧刻凿而成,为逝去的先人记录他们生前之生活,它作用于墓穴、祠堂,以向往后世之昌盛。历来汉画以拓片传世,仙道人物、车马出行、采莲狩猎、舞乐杂耍、衣食住行等无所不有,乃两汉之绣像版史记也。余乐于汉画,其煌煌汉风,深沉雄大为我醉也。自而立之年以降乐此不疲,研习已廿余哉。余才学簿浅无力以刀斧去再造大汉雄风,而仅以指握笔杆在纸上经营汉之想象,无论纸本、绢本、布本均有猎涉。余曾携拙作赴美、澳、新、港、台等地展出,颇得友人称道。
