青藏高原羌塘中部冈玛日地区出露有含典型蓝闪石的蓝闪石片岩, 其岩石学、矿物学研究显示其变质条件为高压低温变质作用. 对两个蓝闪石片岩中的蓝闪石单矿物进行了40Ar/39Ar年龄测定, 坪年龄分别为(275.0± 0.9)和(282.4 ± 0.8) Ma, 等时线年龄分别为(275.0± 1.3)和(287.6± 2.3) Ma, 坪年龄与等时线年龄一致, 这与整个区域的晚古生代特提斯洋的俯冲时代相吻合.
The glaucophane schists containing typical glaucophane are exposed from the Gangmari area in central Qiangtang of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, and its petrological and mineralogical studies show that the metamorphic conditions are high-pressure and low-temperature metamorphism.
