山区房屋地基处理比较复杂,若处理不当,易产生地基不均匀沉降。这是因为山区工程地基有以下特点: 1.地表高差大,基础常处于挖填方交错之中;2.地基上层在平面与竖向分布上差异大,层次多,各土层的物理力学指标相差悬殊;3.池塘或河道改迁形成的局部软土地基多;4.地表泾流面积大,洪水对地基基础威胁大。除此而外,在湖南西部山区,还有基岩顶面起伏不平,土层厚薄不一,引起地基不均匀沉降;同时,石芽、漏斗、溶洞遍布,给工程带来了隐患。
