According to the “Chinese Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology,” 1999 November Volume 34, No. 11 reported Norplant subcutaneous implants is developed in the 80’s subcutaneous implant system, for the long-term, low-dose simple progestin contraceptives. In our country, from 1984 until May 31, 1987, a total of 10,718 women in 12 centers and their sub-centers accepted this method of contraception.
