The center is the first,and so far the only one center special y engaged in sorghum research and development in Hunan and the country.It leads the world in breeding and development of two-line hybrid sorghum,and the new hybrid variety Xianliangyou Nuoliang 1 successfully bred by the center first in the world has been awarded China National Technical Invention Prize.
