美国著名金属材料专家、田纳西大学材料科学系教授B.F.Oliver博士应我院材料工程系副主任严文博士的邀请,在中南工业大学教授黄伯云博士的伴同下于1990年6月24日到达我院。6月25日上午,Oliver教授在我院作了有关高温合金方面的学术报告,就高温合金的熔炼加工、金属间化合物的韧化和应用介绍了美国田纳西大学的最新研究成果,同时还解答了与会同志提出的各种问题。第二天,Oliver教授就我院和田纳西大学加强学术交流和科技
Dr. B.F.Oliver, a famous American metal material expert and professor of materials science at the University of Tennessee, arrived at our hospital on June 24, 1990, at the invitation of Dr. Yan Wen, deputy director of Materials Engineering Department of our hospital, accompanied by Dr. Huang Boyun, professor of Central South University of Technology. On the morning of June 25, Prof. Oliver gave an academic report on superalloy in our hospital and introduced the latest research results of the University of Tennessee on the smelting of superalloy and the toughening and application of intermetallic compounds.
