Most of these organs of plants, such as leaves, stems and flowers, can be clearly studied. It is more difficult to study the growth and life of the root because the organ is in the soil. Students often recognize the roots of plants based on wax leaf specimens, tables, and drawings in textbooks, and thus rarely use living plants. Some teachers planted the plants in glass cases in order to organize students to observe the roots. But often it fails because the root leaves the glass wall more often than usual and goes deep into the soil. We made simple tools that were able to observe the roots directly in the soil. The tool consisted of two thin side panels (a) with an area of 25 x 10 cm and a thin base (?) With an area of 25 x 10 cm
