The authors immunized C57BL / 6 and Switzerland two pure line mice with the Schistosoma mansoni cercariae irradiated with γ-rays of 50,000 rads. Four to eight weeks after the immunization, the mice were immunized with 200 Schistosoma mansoni cercariae or Schistosoma japonicum cercariae were immunized mice and control mice of the same age challenge infection. At 5-7 weeks after challenge infection, the number of worms was dissected and counted. Immunization of mice immunized with Schistosoma mansoni cercariae against the challenge of S. mansoni or challenged with Schistosoma japonicum was evaluated using two indicators of antibody levels and resistance.
