一五月六日,天空是澄藍的。下午三点钟光景,我們中国青年代表团所乘坐的飞机,巳飞临科倫坡的上空。我們的飞机一直是沿着这个島国的海岸綫飞行的,这时我們看到在海浪拍击着的岸边,出現了一座狹长的、美丽的城市。如果說錫兰是个綠色的島国,那么科倫坡就是一座綠色的花园城市。到处是茂密的椰子树林。在港灣里,停泊着許多大海輪;科倫坡就是因为这个大港口而聞名于世界的。在几十分钟以后,我們的脚已踏上印度洋上的島国——
