外经贸部跨国公司研究中心主任王志乐说,有迹象表明,许多较具规模的中国企业正欲走出国门,利用自己的资金和技术优势成功收购对自己发展前景有利的外国企业。目前主要的收购目标集中在日本和韩国。目前有三大类型的跨国收购最值得寻求。首先是资源寻求型,所涉及的领域主要是石油、森林、羊毛和铁矿等国内资源稀缺的产业,如中海油和中石油均有过跨国收购的计划和尝试。
Wang Zhile, director of the Multinational Corporations Research Center of the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation, said there are indications that many of the larger Chinese companies are trying to go abroad and use their capital and technological advantages to successfully acquire foreign enterprises that are favorable to their own development prospects. The main acquisition targets are now concentrated in Japan and South Korea. There are currently three major types of cross-border acquisitions most sought after. The first is resource seeking. The main areas covered are oilfields, forests, wool and iron mines with scarce domestic resources such as CNOOC and PetroChina have plans and attempts to cross-border acquisitions.
