本文回顾了关于专用英语语言问题的研究。专用英语的语言理论在发展中同通用英语的语言理论相互区别和借鉴,这主要表现在语境、语言形式系统和语用三方面。这些侧面的区别和借鉴说明:ESP语言以特定性为特征,与EGP语言的通用性相区别;特定类别的ESP语言又具备着特定范畴内的通用性和特定性。
This article reviews the study of specialized English language issues. The special English language theory is different from the common English language theory in the development, which is mainly reflected in the context, the language formal system and the pragmatic three aspects. The differences and references of these sides show that the ESP language is characterized by specificity, which is different from the commonality of the EGP language. The ESP language of a specific category possesses the commonality and specificity within a specific category.
