通过我国已建和在建铁路受风沙危害情况,结合一些国内实际案例,说明风沙对铁路路基的主要危害形式为风蚀和沙埋;风沙治理主要建议采用植物治沙与工程治沙相结合,路基本体防护与线路两侧防风治沙的综合防护体系;对于防风固沙所采用的固沙植物要进行合理的配置,有条件时应通过试验确定合理的固沙植物栽植密度;要进行合理的施工组织设计,采取科学合理的施工工艺流程,填筑施工时采取合理的压实遍数及机械组合方式;避免边坡长时间暴露而遭到风蚀和雨蚀,要集中施工力量完成一段,防护一段,最大限度地治理风沙危害,改善生态环境,造福铁路沿线人民。
