The establishment of realistic and feasible water prices is one of the keys to starting the South-to-North Water Diversion Project to achieve sustainable use of water resources and to realize the benefits of engineering design. Based on the current water price survey in the water supply area in Shandong Province, this paper analyzes the water price bearing capacity based on the socio-economic development of each region and proposes adjustments for water prices.
