(3)颗粒大小 钾的释放速度还与矿物颗粒大小有关.随着云母颗粒的减少,在代换作用的第一阶段中钾的代换速度显著增高.细粒白云母的代换作用在几天内即完成,而粗粒白云母则要持续数月以上.但是从细颗粒白云母代换出来的钾的最大量比较低.由图5可见0.2~0.7微米的白云母,钾的代换作用十天内可以完成,但代出来的钾只有总钾的70%;10~20微米的粗颗粒,代换作用要二年才能完成,但是几乎可以把全部钾代换出来(大于90%).
