人民网10月10日晚间公告称,拟使用超募资金2.48亿元,收购成都古羌科技有限公司69.25%的股权,向网络文学领域进军。古羌科技是一家主营玄幻、都市、武侠、言情等各类型小说的公司。人民网表示,本次交易将使公司取得更好的市场前景和赢利能力。人民网半年报显示,今年上半年,得益于公司与中国移动、联通进行手机业务合作带来的收入,人民网移动增值业务同比大幅增长121%,达到9989万元。

People’s Network said that this transaction will enable the company to achieve better market prospects and profitability. According to the semi-annual report of People’s Daily Online, in the first half of this year, benefiting from the revenue from the cooperation between the Company and China Mobile and China Unicom in mobile phone business, the mobile value-added service of People’s Network surged by 121% YoY to 99.89 million yuan.
