Objective: To investigate the effect of early intervention on the prognosis of neonatal hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy (HIE). Methods: A total of 352 children with moderate and severe HIE were randomly divided into two groups: ① control group: 172 patients received routine HIE support and symptomatic treatment; ② The intervention group: 180 patients underwent routine HIE support and symptomatic treatment 4 to 6 courses or even more interventions such as hyperbaric oxygen, visual stimulation, auditory stimulation, tactile stimulation, verbal stimulation, exercise training and stimulation, meridian pilot, intravenous injection of Cristallo (or cerebrolysin) long. Compare the two groups of children with mental, motor development and secondary epilepsy, cerebral palsy occurred. Results: The incidence of mental retardation, motor retardation, secondary epilepsy and cerebral palsy in the intervention group was significantly lower than that in the control group, the difference was significant (P <0.01). Conclusion: The early intervention of HIE can significantly reduce the incidence, significantly improve their prognosis
