On November 15, 1999, China and the United States signed a bilateral agreement on China’s accession to the WTO in Beijing. China’s accession to the WTO made a historic major breakthrough. At the forefront of development and opening up, Pudong is extremely concerned about this issue. In the first phase of entering the new millennium, we launched five articles on this topic under a new section titled “Hot Focus”. Among them are government research departments
