建设部于1984年7月10日～16日在南宁召开了全国城乡建筑勘察设计与标准设计工作会议。会议以设计改革为中心议题。杨慎同志向会议通报了建筑业改革的情况,传达了中央有关指示精神,使与会代表受到极大鼓舞。会议最后在讨论的基础上提出了城乡建筑勘察设计改革方案的征求意见稿。大家一致认为:要根本改变设计部门的落后面貌,提高设计的经济和社会效益,彻底解决建筑设计“千篇一律”的问题,繁荣建筑创作,就必须走改革之路。
The Ministry of Construction held a National Conference on Design and Standards of Urban and Rural Construction Survey and Design in Nanning from July 10 to July 16, 1984. The conference focused on design reforms. Comrade Yang Shen informed the meeting about the reform of the construction industry and conveyed the spirit of the Central Committee’s instructions, which greatly encouraged the delegates. At the end of the meeting, a consultation draft for urban and rural construction survey and design reform proposals was proposed. Everyone agrees that it is necessary to fundamentally change the backwardness of the design department, improve the economic and social benefits of design, and thoroughly solve the “one-size-fits-all” problem of architectural design. In order to prosper architectural creation, we must take the path of reform.
