小麦是主要粮食作物,由于栽培条件的改变和品种的更新,小麦根病日趋严重。青岛市每年发生55万亩,占播种面积的13％,造成大幅度的减产,少数地块绝产。莱西县每年发生10万亩左右。我市黄岛区辛安镇普遍发生,重病地块产量损失30％,1980年全镇损失小麦20万公斤。1981年崂山县马戈庄镇东张村110亩小麦因根病发生严重而绝产。为了明确病因,自1979年以来,先后4次进行麦田普查和病株的分离鉴定。1982年我站配合北京农业大
