关于“编辑”一词,在英语中有两个单词来表示我们所提及的相关事物:“edit”、“editor”。其中“editor”指从事编辑业务的人;而单词“edit”则指编辑们的职业行为和职业范围。前者是名词,在传播学中被称为“把关人”,其职能通过后者(动词)具体体现为:负责对信息进行选择,决定取舍,决定突出处理及删节哪些信息或其中的某些方面,决定向传播对象提供哪些信息,并试图通过这些信息造成某种社会影响。
The word “editorial” has two words in English that refer to the things we mentioned: “edit”, “editor”.
