表2中列出了近20年来,CEPI造纸行业的变化情况。从表2中可以看出,CEPI成员国的造纸行业不管是制浆厂还是纸及纸板生产企业数量都是呈下降趋势,但纸浆、纸及纸板产量相对稳定,或者说是下降幅度不大,这说明欧洲CEPI成员国造纸行业集中度提高。从废纸回收量和废纸利用量两个数据看,欧洲废纸利用情况逐年提高,目前已基本达到废纸回收和利用率的顶峰。生物质在总燃油消耗量中的比重也是逐年上升。
