‘初级中学外国歷史課本’,是沈長虹同志由他原著‘世界史話’改編的。‘世界史話’,不但是很好的大众讀物,而且比较適合中学的教学,所以在平津解放以前,冀中區各地中學就將它當作課本使用,平津解放以後,便正式改成初中課本。不過這本書还存在着許多錯誤和缺點,在改編後的課本中,仍舊沒有得到纠正。全國中等教育會議以後,對中学各科課本將有一套严格的整理,我們不能將这項工作單純看成是中央或几个專家和編者的責任,我們全國的中教工作者,尤其中學教師們,應對这項工作提出大量的意見或要求,以供中央参考。因此,我在此對‘初級中学外國歷史课本’中的錯誤和缺點提出一些膚淺的意見,作為該書今後修訂或再版時的參考,並希望能得到著者和讀者的指正。
’Junior high school foreign history textbook’, is Comrade Shen Changhong by his original ’World History’ adaptation. ’World History’ is not only a good popular reading but also a suitable one for secondary schools. Therefore, before the liberation of Pingjin, it was used as a textbook by middle schools throughout Jizhong District. After the liberation of Pingjin, it was formally converted into a junior high school textbook. However, there are still many mistakes and shortcomings in this book, which are still not corrected in the adapted texts. After the National Conference on Secondary Education, there will be a rigorous set of textbooks for all subjects in secondary schools. We can not just regard this as the responsibility of the central government or a few experts and editors. Our nationwide middle school teachers, especially secondary school teachers, A large number of opinions or requests should be submitted for this work for reference by the Central Government. Therefore, I hereby put forward some superficial opinions on the errors and shortcomings in the textbook of foreign history for junior high schools as a reference for future revision or republication of the book, and I hope that it can be corrected by the authors and readers.
