近几年来,全国乡镇砖厂发展迅速,解决了农村建造房屋的需要。现在的问题是,多数乡镇企业是因陋就简地办起来的,技术水平低,工艺装备落后,产品质量较差,能耗普遍偏高。限于条件,目前乡镇企业只生产实心砖,空心砖品种还是空白。但是,各地乡镇砖厂有的条件好些,有的条件差些。如果有条件生产空心砖,首先要选择合适的品种。我认为,可以选择承重的、小块的、空隙率较低的、孔型较为简单的空心砖,例如240×115×90毫米的多孔、圆孔空心砖,这对于目前条件下的乡镇砖厂较为合适。除此以外,应当具备以下条件:
