1976年5月6日至7日,在(美国)西北大学举办了一次关于“微处理机结构与系统”的专题讨论会。会上没有正式的论题。经归纳,有如下几点结论:1.多微处理机结构的地位将更为突出,但其经济效果则要看用途而定。2.可靠性和容错计算对许多这样的设计起到推动作用。3.资源的重新分配可实现功能更强、更为有效的系统。4.现在需要一种整体性的正规的设计方法。5.未来的机器需要更多的自我检测及自我修理的能力。6.现在需要有更好的软件研制系统。
A Symposium on “Microprocessor Architecture and Systems” was held at Northwestern University (USA) from May 6 to July 6, 1976. There is no formal topic at the meeting. After induction, the following conclusions: 1. Multi-microprocessor structure will be more prominent position, but its economic effect depends on the use. 2. Reliability and fault-tolerant computing play a catalytic role in many of these designs. 3. The redistribution of resources enables a more functional and effective system. 4. There is a need for a holistic, formal design approach. Future machines need more self-testing and self-healing capabilities. 6. Now need to have a better software development system.
