澳大利亚为英联邦国家.位于大洋洲,是南半球经济最发达的国家,面积为768万平方公里,人口为1830万,其中华人华侨约有100万,是一个具有现代生活气息和浪漫风情的移民国家。其碧绿万顷的草原(人平有70多头牛羊),一望无际的田野(盛产糖占世界第二位,仅次于古巴),充满奇趣的大地,怪石林立的沙漠干山,广阔平坦的美丽海滩,世界独有的各种动物(尤其以袋鼠、树熊出名)及风光独具的自然美景让人留连忘返。
