57年前,他出生在内蒙古清水河县一个农户家,黄河成为他童年记忆中最为重要的符号。41年前,父亲的早逝让他过早的承担起家庭的重担,他的第一份工作就是用木筏船搞黄河运输。1980年代初,他毅然辞职下海,借款5万元在黄河包头段经营原单位机动船,取名“团结号”。20年前,他来到被誉为“乌金之海”的乌海市,创建了属于自己的第一个公司棗乌海市黄河航运公司。11年前,他成为内蒙古个人投资建桥最多的人。最近的10年中,他带领着自己的团队,通过兼并、收购、控股等方式,先后接收了7家国有企业,开创了乌海市小企业兼并大企业、民营企业成功兼并国有中型企业先河,赢得了“活企大王”的美誉。与此同时,他的企业还积极进行“循环经济”的探索和实践,成为乌海最早构建“循环经济”产业链的民营企业。今天,他所驾驭的内蒙古黄河工贸集团公司,已经拥有资产20亿元,职工6000人,下设12个子公司,1个股份有限公司,产业横跨煤炭、冶金、建材、电力、建筑安装、运输和餐饮服务。而他本人亦在2005年跻身于中国500富人榜。从清水河到包头再到乌海,他的人生轨迹始终没有离开过黄河,而这个轨迹的走向也恰恰与他的人生信念惊人的吻合:永远力争上游。
