中山大学百年校园内,历史感厚重,红砖绿瓦的形象深入民心。项目拟对中山楼进行改扩建,以作为校区综合办事中心大楼使用。中山楼参考文明路的旧钟楼设计,有着充分的理据,其“中山楼”的命名与参照对象都反映了当时中山楼对于学校而言,背负着非常重大的历史使命。但是从现在的结果来看,中山楼在中大南校区里面显得格格不入。本方案力求在设计中体现现代绿色办公理念,以人本主义出发,创造怡人的空间。另外,方案更希望传承中大的历史面貌,用现代的材料与建造工艺,重现统一的校园风格。
Sun Yat-sen Centennial Campus, a thick sense of history, the image of red-brick lofty people’s hearts. The project proposes to reconstruct and expand Zhongshan Tower to be used as a campus integrated service center building. Zhongshan Tower Reference Civilization Road, the old clock tower design, with ample justification, its “Zhongshan Building ” naming and reference objects are reflected in the Zhongshan House for the school, carrying a very important historical mission. However, from the current results, Zhongshan House in the South Campus which seem out of place. The program seeks to embody the concept of modern green office in the design, starting with humanism, and create pleasant space. In addition, the program also hopes to pass on the history of CUHK, using modern materials and construction technology to reproduce a unified campus style.
