Gaid Nordson talks about work, tradition, cooperation, and structural design. “Dare to be naive.” This is what architects, visionaries and inventors R. Berkemin Fowler often say in the studio. Right in this studio in Long Island City, New York, he worked with his companion architect Soyy Sadao and the often-cooperated artist Essam Noguche. Their young cartographer, Gary Nordson, graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and once worked hard on engineering. He wanted to engage in comparative literature. But in this exciting environment, he was excited. Seeing three collaborators working on different data and scope. He understood their broad world view and the methods of exploration and experimentation. Only Sadaao is still alive in the trio. He is now the executive chairman of the Issam Noguchi Foundation. He still remembered the hard-working young man who worked hard. "At that time (1974) we were busy with the opening exhibition of the Cooper-Hewet Museum, which was curated by the Austrian architect Hans Hollen.
