1983年9月6日至9日在我国广州白天鹅宾馆召开了’83国际激光会议,会议是由中国光学学会主办的,大会由主席团主席、中国光学学会理事长王大珩教授主持。人大常委会副委员长、中国光学学会名誉理事长严济慈教授致函大会,祝贺会议圆满成功。参加会议的国外代表112名,来自17个国家和地区,苏联、东欧和亚洲一些国家,第一次有代表参加我国召开的国际性激光会议。美国“民间”组织(people to people)还派出16人代表团出席会议。
1983 September 6-9 at the White Swan Hotel in Guangzhou, China held a ’83 International Laser Conference, the meeting is sponsored by the China Optical Society, the General Assembly presided over by the Presidency, China Optical Society, Professor Wang Daheng presided over. Professor Yan Jici, Vice Chairman of NPC Standing Committee and honorary chairman of China Optical Society, sent a letter to the conference congratulating the conference on its success. 112 foreign delegates to the conference, from 17 countries and regions, the Soviet Union, Eastern Europe and some Asian countries, attended the first international laser conference in our country for the first time. The U.S. “people to people” also sent a 16-member delegation to the meeting.
