中华传统美德具有生生不息、历久弥新的品质,是永不枯竭的道德教育源泉。继承中华美德,培养民族精神,是加强公民道德建设的一项极为重要的内容。少年儿童是中华传统美德的继承者,又是体现时代进步要求的新道德规范的实践者,他们的思想道德状况,直接关系到全面建设小康社会的目标是否能够顺利实现。因此,作为少年儿童工作者——少先队辅导员必须以“三个代表”的重要思想为指导,全面贯彻落实党的十六大精神,把弘扬和培育伟大的民族精神作为自己的重要任务,以爱国主义教育为核心,以古今优秀人物为榜样,以课堂教育为主体,以校内外各项活动为辅助,建立家庭、学校、社会三位一体的教育网络。对少先队员进行传统美德教育,具体来说,应做到如下九个结合。一、中华传统美德教育与学校课堂教学相结合课堂教学是学校进行中华传统美德教育、弘扬民族精神的主渠道,辅导员要自觉结合学校德育课程的改革,充实和强化传统美德和民族精神教育内容,把这些教育内容与课程教学相结合、由浅入深,
