该校是邢台市首批被河北省教育厅认定的河北省示范性高级中学,始建于1999年9月,2000年8月交付使用。学校现有223名教职员工,专任教师178名,45个教学班,在校学生3450名。学校坚持社会主义的办学方向,全面贯彻国家的教育方针,使学生全面发展,努力提高教育教学质量,为国家、为社会培养更多更好的人才。 经过全体师生的共同努力,在2003年首届高考中,该校取得优异成绩,有16名学生成绩达到全国重点线,75名学生达到本科二批录取线,有407名学生成绩达到本科三批录取线,有662名学生成绩达到专科线,上线率达83％。在今年高考中,该校又上一个新台阶,实现了惊人
