湖北恩施州公路局是负责恩施州境内公路养建管工作的业务主管部门,内设10个科室,机关有干部、职工88人.下辖8个县(市)公路段,2个直属单位,182个公路养护站,全州公路系统共有职工3184名,全州通车里程8278公里,列养公路3115.14公里.有209、318两条国道,11条省道,46条县乡道和32条出路,初步形成以自治州首府恩施市为中心,以209、318两条横穿州境南北、东西的国道为主骨架,以省、县道为经、纬支干,外接川东、湘西,宜昌和神农架林区,内联乡镇的公路网络,全州95%的客货运输正以公路为载体,源源不断采往各地,公路已戍为全州380万各族人民脱贫致富奔小康的经济命脉。
