2012年12月6日凌晨,新建的沪昆铁路六沾复线(六盘水至沾益)梅花山至凤凰山段在宣威市乐丰乡的背开柱驳接,贵昆铁路云南段老线被完全替代。在今年12月老线停用2周年之际,谨以此文纪念这条云南历史上的第一条准轨铁路。贵昆铁路东起贵州贵阳,西抵云南昆明,全长643千米,原设计为黔滇铁路暨内昆铁路南段,于1958年开工建设,1966年建成通车,它是连接云贵两省的钢铁大动脉,结束了云南“火车不通国内通国外”的历史。
In the early hours of December 6, 2012, the newly built Shanghai-Kunming Railway connecting Liuzhan-Dupuilu (Liupanshui to Zhanyi) to the Fenghuangshan section of the Shanghai-Kunming Railway was opened at the back opening column in Lefeng Township, Xuanwei City.
